Syracuse University has updated its health guidelines for attending events in the Carrier Dome.

All fans aged 12 and over must show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test to participate. SU also requires all participants over the age of 4 to wear masks indoors.

For children aged 5 to 11 who are not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, proof of a negative test is required. Newborns up to the age of 4 do not need proof of vaccination or test results, nor are they required to wear masks.

Upon entering the Carrier Dome, each fan will take a screening test to show their COVID-related documentation, as well as valid ID. Preselection tents will be located in the Skytop and Manley parking lots, the West lots and on the Quad. The tents will open four hours before kick off.

COVID testing is not available on site.

The Orange will host their home opener at 1 p.m. on Saturday against Rutgers, who start a three-game home game. Syracuse won its first game of the season last week in Ohio.
