SYNCRONYS Leverages Orion Health To Launch Next Generation Health Information Exchange In New Mexico


BOSTON–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – SYNCRONYS, New Mexico’s Health Information Clearinghouse (HIE), partners with Orion Health, a leading provider of population health management solutions, to launch a next-generation health information exchange model. Together, SYNCRONYS and Orion Health will remove barriers to data sharing, increase interoperability, and improve the functionality, datasets, reach and overall value of the HIE.

As part of the collaboration, Orion Health migrated the legacy HIE platform from SYCRONYS, existing interface connections and historical data to Orion Health’s multi-tenant Amadeus platform, which uses a database scalable to capture and align patient information from multiple providers and payers, creating an innovative healthcare ecosystem. The migration also included the deployment of new modules: Orion Health Coordinate, Orion Health Medicines Viewer and Orion Health Discover. Orion Health will also extend direct secure messaging (DSM) and single sign-on (SSO) capabilities to complement existing SYNCRONYS vendor integrations.
