Stevens High School releases health protocols for home basketball games | Sports

The following is a list of health protocols published by Stevens High School for home basketball games this season:

– All players / coaches / fans must wear masks at all times, unless they are actively participating in the game on the field. There may be a few instances where the opposing school requires everyone to be masked at all times, including players on the field. In these situations, in order to ensure the game is played, players on the field will wear masks.

– Each Stevens High School athlete / coach will be entitled to four fans per game to attend our home games (each visiting player / coach will be entitled to two fans). A list will be generated before each match with the names of each of the invited players / coaches. This list must be completed by noon on the day of the match. If a spectator is not on the list, they will not be allowed to watch the match.

– All spectators must wear masks at all times!

– At the end of the junior varsity match, the gymnasium should be cleaned before the varsity match spectators are allowed to enter. The doors will be open for junior college fans at 5.15pm and they will be open for college fans as soon as all junior college fans have left.

– We will be broadcasting live on our Stevens High School Athletics Facebook page.

– There will be no concession stand open during the games.

School officials apologize for the limited number of fans who will be allowed to watch our matches live. Remember that last year no one was allowed to see the matches in person. At least it’s better than that! Thank you for your understanding.
