MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine National Police (PNP) have asked bazaar organizers to coordinate with local government units to ensure their customers comply with COVID-19 protocols.

As police have been deployed to overcrowded areas, PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said bazaar organizers should do their part to ensure their customers meet minimum public health standards set by the government. national government.

Among these are physical distancing protocols and wearing face masks in public places, which health officials say are effective in preventing COVID-19.

Even though quarantine restrictions have been relaxed, Eleazar urged the public not to let their guard down against COVID-19, especially when shopping in inexpensive stores.
