THE Civil Service Commission (CSC) will enforce health protocols against Covid-19 when holding the postponed Civil Service Exams on Sunday, April 24.

In a statement on Thursday, CSC said candidates must wear a face covering at the exam site and also encouraged the use of a face shield.

Fully vaccinated applicants must present the original or a digital copy of their vaccination record, while partially vaccinated or unvaccinated persons must present a negative result of RT-PCR (reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction), saliva or antigen before the test.

“Candidates may choose to bring alcohol or hand sanitizer up to 100 milliliters in size, as well as snacks and water,” the statement said.

CSC noted that fully vaccinated staff assigned to testing centers in local government units requiring RT-PCR, saliva or antigen testing must also present negative test results.

Candidates were required to present a valid ID alongside a pre-filled health declaration form with the space for the temperature reading left blank to be completed after a thermal scan at the main entrance of the testing location .

Applicants must be on site no later than 6:30 a.m. or as required by the applicable CSC regional or local office. Only black ballpoint pens should be used to answer the test and sharing or borrowing pens will not be allowed for health reasons.

A total of 17,840 candidates are expected to pass the Career Service Examination for Foreign Service Officer, Fire Officer Examination, Penology Officer Examination, and Basic Competency in the Foreign Service Examination. local treasury.
